Heidi O'Hehir (Principal)

Heidi’s dream is to provide a dance educational facility that provides a
chance for every dancer to shine and develop into confident young people
with outstanding life skills.

Heidi stepped up to take over Dance3D from previous owner Andrea
Dalton to start in 2014. Since then, the studio has had a complete
renovation and the school continues to flourish under the guidance of
Andrea and Heidi together.

Heidi’s most recent achievement was to be promoted to Dance Examiner for ATOD and this has already had her travelling to various schools around Australia to report on Dance. Heidi has taken all levels of teacher’s examinations with the Australian Teachers of Dancing Ltd (ATOD) including the final and prestigious Licentiate Teachers Diploma in 2010.She has added to her studies by completing dance courses through Queensland College of Technology (QUT), which boasts an outstanding Dance education program. As part of her professional development, Heidi has travelled extensively and taken classes at Pineapple studios in
London, Millennium studios in Los Angeles as well as performing opportunities as a dancer in travelling teams for both Andrea Dalton Dance Dynamics and ATOD to Japan, Hong Kong and Prague. Her travels have taken her also to Singapore where she was employed by ATOD as a
teacher to represent them at the Singapore Dance Camp. She has also lead several dance tours herself to Montenegro, Greece, Orlando, New York, London and Paris, with many more on the horizon.

Prior to owning Dance3D, Heidi worked as a Dance and English teacher at
Immanuel Lutheran College in Maroochydore, successfully developing the
Dance Program to Year 12 level. This is the College where Heidi had her
own education and was school captain in 2000.

Levana Marin

ATOD Licentiate Diploma, Diploma Dance Teaching & Management Diploma CSTD theatrical teaching & Circus Arts.

Levana, originally from Bundaberg, started to dance at the age of 6 years,competing in local and national dance competitions from age 8 and completing all C.S.T.D. exams with honours plus. She most recently completed her final teaching exam with ATOD and is now a Licentiate Member. She is also part of the Acrobatic Arts program at Dance3D.

A real love for acrobatics, Levana was among only 20 people in Australia to be accepted into the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) in Melbourne during her grade 12 year. She trained at NICA for a year and a half and was fortunate to learn some amazing acts and skills, specialised in contortion, tight wire and hula hoops and being awarded her diploma in
Circus Arts.

In addition to acrobatics and CSTD, Levana has also performed belly dancing through her Mothers belly dance school in Bundaberg and has a certificate III in hairdressing.Levana teaches all genres and loves preparing students for performance work.

Millie Evans

Millie grew up dancing with Andrea Dalton and then Dance3D and is so much a part of the dance family. She is currently completing her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management and has completed the Teacher Training modules with Acrobatic Arts as well.

Growing up, Millie performed in many competitions as a soloist and also competed in Duo sections. She completed her dance exams and is keen to see her students build the confidence to enter exams also. Millie is an exceptional dancer who like to focus on the technical details and intricacies of movements with her students.

Morgan Williams

Morgan has been part of the Dance3D family since she was 3. Growing up, she was extremely involved in all areas of dance, completing all her exams in Classical, Jazz and Tap, competing in groups and solo competitions, and thoroughly enjoying all aspects of the end of year
concert. Morgan has also travelled with dance tours, exploring dance opportunities in Hong Kong, Montenegro, Greece, Prague & LA.

Upon finishing school, Morgan studied dance full time at DanceForce on the Gold Coast completing her Cert IV in Dance. She is a ‘jack of all trades’ and is currently loving working in Hip Hop and Commercial Classes.

Morgan is also working to complete her studies at the University of the
Sunshine Coast.

Andrea Dalton

Licentiate Teaching Diploma ATOD, Examiner ATOD, Life Member ATOD, Dip Teaching Education Primary

Andrea has had a varied career as a dance teacher and Examiner. Formerly a primary school teacher, she brings to the dance studio a keen interest in the development of Early Learning Programs. Her 30 years of dance teaching experience and management of Andrea Dalton Dance Dynamics enables students and her fellow staff members to gain much from her vast knowledge.

Andrea has travelled extensively within the dance industry – examining in Hong Kong, Singapore and throughout Australia for the past 15 years. She has taken seminars and workshops for teachers and students in Indonesia, China (both Canton and Beijing Dance Academies), Hong Kong and Singapore as well as in Australia. Her knowledge of syllabi and technical aspects of dance are called upon frequently to assist training teachers and colleagues.

Students of Andrea Dalton Dance Dynamics have travelled with Andrea to Hong Kong (performing in the Hong Kong Dance Expo); to Japan as a cross-cultural exchange and more recently to Prague for competition and workshops. Being able to incorporate dance and travel, with her students is something very close to Andrea’s heart.

In 2014, Andrea launched a new Early Learning program “Imagine”, which she wrote. Students at Dance3D have had an exclusive experience in 2014 as this exciting program was rolled out by the creator herself!
